Daith piercings and their hidden, sensual attraction

Sensual at second sight: daith piercings are located in a special part of the ear that can’t be seen from each and any angle. It hugs the inner cartilage of the ear and sits right above the auditory canal, where acupuncturists target a pressure point that is said to relieve migraines. Daith rings, daith hoops and barbells are perfect daith piercings. After all, they are prominent daith piercing jewellery that attracts everyone’s attention although it is fairly hidden. Be playful with discovering new things and celebrate this body adornment with SABOTEUR’s designs. They are made of high-quality, genuine 18 K gold and attract all the attention with their powerful simplicity or their magic symbolism. Sparkly diamonds and gemstones like emeralds, sapphires, rubies and amethysts reveal their beauty thanks to timeless and creative designs.

The selection of materials for our SABOTEUR daith earrings and piercings underlines their high quality. Our daith piercings are made of 18 K white, yellow or rose gold that are characterized by their color fastness and material resistance. Furthermore, they are hypoallergenic and nickel free so that you won’t have to worry about any irritations or skin discoloration. SABOTEUR diamonds are conflict-free and hand-picked according to their individual properties. Besides the classic brilliant-cut, we offer the baguette-, navette-, triangular-, pear- and princess-cut.

Daith piercing: after care for a perfect healing process

Piercing a daith piercing requires a high degree of experience and sensibility. This is firstly due to the very small and sensitive area of the ear, and secondly due to the tougher cartilage tissue. Our piercers are masters of their craft, so you are in good hands. They pierce the daith piercing with a special, curved needle and a receiving tube, the latter being a protective tube made of stainless steel.

The daith piercing is not amongst the piercings beginners should consider. The area is tough and small, which is why piercing must be done slowly and can be a challenge that might involve pain. Even the healing time for a daith piercing is 9 to 12 months and thus comparatively long. It is crucial that you pay a lot of attention to your new body adornment during this time. Only then can the wound heal perfectly. We support you by sharing and providing our care instructions and the best aftercare products. You can purchase them in one of our stores.

  • Wash your hands before cleaning the piercing wound and before applying the After Care spray.
  • We recommend you clean and care for your daith piercing twice a day.
  • Apply the After Care product on the front and the back – try to be as gentle and thorough as possible.
  • During the first four weeks after the piercing, please avoid doing sports, going to the swimming pool, sauna or tanning shops.
  • Avoid washing your hair with hot water and keep haircare as well as styling products away from your piercing when you style your hair.
  • In order to avoid putting too much pressure on your daith piercing, please use a soft pillow or a travel neck pillow and be careful when using headphones or when talking on the phone.
  • Practice good hygiene when it comes to ear pods, your smartphone and other devices that come into contact with your ears.
