2. Service and accessibility requirements

Through saboteur.world, consumers can view and select products and place orders online. The service includes navigation, search and filter functions, product overview and detail pages, a shopping cart, checkout, available delivery and payment methods and, where provided, a customer account.

Under the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019), as amended, accessibility requirements apply to e-commerce services provided to consumers. The website and the digital information and functions required to use the service are designed and further developed with the aim of being perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. This includes keyboard operability, sufficient contrast and visible focus indicators, clear page and heading structures, text alternatives for relevant non-text content, compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers, and accessible forms, identification, security and payment functions.

For technical implementation, we take into account the applicable requirements of EN 301 549 and use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), including WCAG 2.2 at levels A and AA, as an implementation benchmark. Where accessibility information concerning products or services is provided by the economic operator responsible for them and is relevant under the applicable requirements, that information is made available in the online shop. No dedicated product is supplied or required by us in order to use the online shop.

3. Accessibility status and assessment

Based on the current self-assessment, the website largely meets the applicable accessibility requirements. The assessment includes automated accessibility testing and documented technical review. Automated testing cannot cover every aspect of accessibility, in particular actual use with assistive technologies and certain content- and context-dependent requirements. As these aspects have not yet been comprehensively verified, the website is currently classified as largely compliant rather than fully compliant.

4. Non-accessible content

At the current documented assessment stage, no specific technical or content-related barriers in the web service have been identified. The accessibility of all PDF documents currently available on the website has not yet been fully verified. Until this review is complete, limitations in the use of individual PDF documents with assistive technologies cannot be ruled out. If specific non-accessible documents are identified, this statement will be updated and the documents will be reviewed and addressed as appropriate.
