REPAIR SERVICE
We hope that you are completely satisfied with your SABOTEUR products.
We offer repair services in our in-house workshop. Following a professional inspection, we will let you know whether statutory rights in respect of defects (warranty) apply, or whether the only option is a repair subject to a charge. For repairs subject to a charge, you will receive a non-binding quote in advance. For purchases made on or after 1 August 2026, SABOTEUR does not provide a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty; for earlier purchases, any warranty promised at the time of purchase remains valid in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable at that time.
A repair at your own expense is only possible if the product can be repaired professionally and the necessary spare parts are available. Previous repairs or modifications carried out by third parties will only preclude service if they prevent the product from being repaired professionally or if the damage to be rectified was caused by such repairs or modifications.
We will endeavour to deal with your enquiry as quickly as possible.
In the event of a potential statutory defect, please contact our Customer Service before returning the item. Before we carry out statutory rectification, we will inform you of your right to choose between repair and replacement. If rectification is carried out by repair, the original limitation period for claims for defects is extended once by twelve months.

STATUTORY RIGHTS IN RESPECT OF DEFECTS (LEGAL GUARANTEE)
Statutory rights relating to defects apply to faulty products. These rights are enforceable against the seller. For purchases made in the SABOTEUR Online Shop, THOMAS SABO GmbH & Co. KG is your seller and point of contact.
As part of the remedy, you may generally choose between the rectification of the defect (repair) and the supply of goods free from defects (replacement). This right of choice may be restricted in accordance with statutory requirements, in particular where rectification is impossible or would entail disproportionate costs.
The statutory remedy is provided to you free of charge. The seller shall bear the necessary costs, in particular transport, labour and material costs, in accordance with statutory provisions.
Before carrying out statutory rectification, we will inform you of your right to choose between repair and replacement. If the defect is rectified by repair, the original limitation period for claims for defects shall be extended once by twelve months in accordance with statutory provisions.
If the rectification fails, is refused or if the other statutory conditions are met, you may, in particular, be entitled to withdraw from the contract, claim a price reduction or claim damages.
Normal wear and tear, loss, theft, improper handling or damage caused subsequently do not, in themselves, give rise to any statutory rights in respect of defects. Repairs or alterations carried out by third parties do not affect your statutory rights in respect of defects.
Normal wear and tear, loss, theft, improper handling or damage caused subsequently do not, in themselves, give rise to statutory rights in respect of defects. Repairs or alterations carried out by third parties do not automatically invalidate statutory rights in respect of defects; the decisive factor is, in particular, whether the damage claimed was caused by such repairs or alterations.
Please contact our Customer Service before sending the item in and, if possible, have proof of purchase to hand. This helps us to identify the date of purchase and the seller, and to assess your statutory rights in respect of defects.
SABOTEUR does not provide a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty for purchases made on or after 1 August 2026. For older purchases where a voluntary warranty was provided at the time of purchase, the warranty terms in force at that time continue to apply.
