The tragus piercing is thus visible from all sides and can be seen when viewed straight-on and so is one of the most popular surface cartilage piercings. Our skilled piercers use piercing needles or piercing catheters to pierce through the cartilage. A small piece of cork is held behind the cartilage to protect the ear canal and create slight counter pressure. You will feel slight pain, but it will subside after a short time. Depending on your level of sensitivity, you may experience some discomfort as the ear cartilage is quite dense, is not easy to pierce through, and contains many small nerve endings.
