SABOTEUR DIAMONDS

WHITE DIAMONDS

The diamonds used at SABOTEUR are purchased exclusively from sources that are very well known to us and are tested for accuracy by certified diamond testers before they are used in the jewellery or watches.

Each diamond has certain individual characteristics, thus each diamond is also unique.

Conflict Free SABOTEUR Diamonds

Our SABOTEUR diamonds are conflict-free diamonds sourced exclusively from countries that fully participate in the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.

Conflict-free diamonds are not used to fund armed conflicts aimed at weakening legitimate governments.

The 4 Cs of white diamonds

Clarity, Color, Carat Weight and Cut are globally recognized standards for diamond quality assessment.

Clarity of SABOTEUR diamonds

The clarity of a diamond is evaluated by the visibility of the inclusions under tenfold magnification.

All our white SABOTEUR diamonds have only very small inclusions or impurities inside the stone (VSI= very small inclusions), which are only visible under 10x magnification.

Color of SABOTEUR diamonds

Our white diamonds used for SABOTEUR products are classified as "colorless" on the color scale for diamonds, which corresponds to the letters D, E, F, thus ensuring a wonderful bright white shine.

This is already the highest possible color level that diamonds can achieve.

The general diamond color scale goes from "colorless" to "Light yellow".

Carat -Weight of SABOTEUR diamonds

Stones are generally measured in carats, the unit of weight.

1 carat is equal to one fifth of a gram.

We always enter the total weight of all diamonds used in our SABOTEUR jewellery and watches.

The carat weight can be different for the different diamond shapes we use, such as round brilliant cut, princess cut, baguette cut, triangle cut, or drop cut.

Cut of the SABOTEUR Diamonds

Very important for the highest possible brilliance of the diamonds is the perfect cut, because the facets are largely responsible for the light reflections.

The cut is determined by symmetry, proportions and polish and is crucial for the beauty of the gemstone.

If a diamond is not well cut, it will appear dull despite its high color quality and clarity grade.

Our diamonds are very well cut so that the light reflects off the facets for maximum brilliance and sparkle.

In addition to the classic round brilliant cut, we use the baguette, navette, triangle, teardrop and princess cut.

BLACK TREATED DIAMONDS

The diamonds used at SABOTEUR are purchased exclusively from sources that are very well known to us and are tested for accuracy by certified diamond testers before they are used in the jewellery or watches.

Each diamond has certain individual characteristics; thus each diamond is also unique.

Black diamonds are almost no longer found in nature, so nowadays people resort to treated diamonds.

For this purpose, yellowish diamonds are burned in a furnace at a certain heat, so that the diamond turns completely black.

The black diamond has slightly different cut proportions than its white brother.

The best quality of black diamonds is called AAA quality, and this is exactly what we use for our SABOTEUR products.

Conflict Free SABOTEUR Diamonds

Our SABOTEUR black diamonds are also conflict-free diamonds, sourced exclusively from countries that fully participate in the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.

Conflict-free diamonds are not used to finance armed conflicts aimed at weakening legitimate governments.
